Hello. I am a highly flexible, laminated purple balloon inscribed with a boldly, beautiful, inkjet number Thirteen. This is the story of my week with Alex, an arts student who is afraid of numbers and terrible at mathematics (in fact she had trouble spelling mathematics, that's how long it has been since she's used the word). Let's see if I can get her pumped for her new subject in finance and budgeting.
Well, that was a less interesting day photography wise, but that can happen when work is involved. Oh, well. Time to sleep.

Yay. My second train journey for the week - got to admit that I’m not a fan of being confined to a leather bag all day, but I guess Alex has to get used to the idea of showing me off. I’m a pretty special number after all.

And here’s another one - it’s a little creepy.

After a hard day working in the perils of retail, Alex takes me down a dark alley way (not what it sounds like), to take a photo of her friend Amina wearing a fake moustache - seems as though that is something that hipsters might do - though Alex vehemently denies being a hipster.

Alex and I start off the day indulging in some delicious toast. Not much mathematics going on here (although, I guess we could evenly divide the bites), but it is nice to be well sustained when heading into an awful day at work.
